Centurion Business Forum Wins Again!
October 1999

Centurion Business Forum was chosen as the best business forum in its category for the second consecutive year. The announcement was made on 20 October 1999 during the annual congress of the AHI held at Sun City.

We would like to thank all our members and the management committee of 1998-99. Without you, this achievement would not have been possible. It is at times like this that we again miss Dickie who was the chairperson during this time. Despite his illness, he approached his term of office with enthusiasm and energy.

Stef Naudé (previous president van die AHI), Cas Botha (AHI), Michael van der Westhuizen (chairperson Centurion Busines Forum), Jacob de Villiers (CEO AHI), Tertius Zitske (chairperson Pretoria Afrikaanse Sakekamer) and Willem Barnard (newly elected president of the AHI) during the presentation of the awards for best business forums in South Africa.

For the first time Centurion Business Forum entered the competition for the tourism trophy and was rewarded with a third place. We are very proud of this achievement since 1999 was the first year in which we really tried to make Centurion a tourism-friendly town.

We will celebrate these achievements with members, family and friends at our year end function on 19 November.
